KEEP OUR REGION GREEN

Afrisol Energy (based in Kenya since 2010) is an energy company active in waste management  and powering companies, schools and community’s. We facilitate the adoption of climate smart technologies and practices by farmers by affordable and clean energy and sanitation solutions.

SOCIAL AND SUSTAINABLE, STICHTING AFRISOL

Our projects contribute to an integrated regional development in the areas of health, welfare and education by saving on energy costs. We work together with Stichting Afrisol (based in the Netherlands), a foundation that contribute to a sustainable future by re-designing the overall energy chain. We do this by sharing, daring and taking action. Stichting Afrisol has set up a Biogas Innovation and Training Center in Kiserian Area. And Stichting Afrisol has donated funds to build several biogas plants for social projects in Nairobi and Malindi.

LOCAL SOLUTIONS TO WORLD CHALLENGES

Afrisol has installed over 120 biogas installations, converting biomass and manure into cooking gas and electricity to underserved communities, including schools, dairy farms and institutions. We have completed 15 big installations at the commercial level of up to 124 cubic meters.

Our mission is to provide renewable energy solutions for a greener healthy and wealthy Africa through utilization of locally available materials and resources.

YOUR SUCCESS IS OUR SUCCESS

Afrisol ensures that the biogas facility is installed according to plan. Our team is on site to do everything required to install the digesters, from building the tanks to equipping the digesters to installing the generator. We can do all of the work, or we can leave certain elements to the customer. Our tried and tested techniques and experience enables us to bring the best management to your project. Whatever you need to make the project work for you.

Biogas plants – biodigesters – convert animal manure, human excrement and other organic materials into combustible methane gas, known as biogas. In addition, the residue of the process – bio-slurry – can be used as a potent organic fertiliser to enhance agricultural productivity and sustain soil fertility.
